Where people click, and cleaner data

v1.10 · September 2026

  • Where people click: a new card under Events on the Goals tab draws the clicks on any page, with the first-screen fold marked, numbered pins on the busiest spots and a ranked list of the elements clicked most. Pick a goal to see only the clicks that fired it. A custom event fired right after a click inherits its position, so your goals are drawn with no extra code.
  • Click tracking no longer stores an element's text or a link's address. Labels come from the element's selector and id instead, and mailto: and tel: links are no longer treated as outbound links.
  • Signals are back on Overview as a ledger under the chart, biggest change first. Hover a row and the chart marks its day. Open it and one link filters the dashboard to the sessions behind it.
  • Production only: a per-site setting that ignores visits from localhost and private networks at ingest, with a button to remove what was already collected.
  • Check installation now says plainly what it found in your site's HTML, and re-adding a site you had deleted revives its tracking key.
  • The plan you pick on the pricing page follows you through signup to checkout. Password reset works end to end, the onboarding tour can be skipped, and a site without the snippet says One step left with the snippet one click away.
  • One typeface throughout. The serif and the monospace are gone, and weight carries the moments they used to.
  • A proper favicon and touch icon in the browser tab.

History, goals, and a calmer dashboard

  • Bring your history with you. Export your reports from Google Analytics 4 and drop the file in during setup. Clerion writes its first briefing as soon as the import lands, and the imported days show on the chart as their own hatched series. Exports from Plausible, Fathom, Matomo, Simple Analytics and Umami are recognised too.
  • Every site starts with an owner's brief: your goal in a sentence and a short description of the site, pre-filled from an industry preset and editable in Settings. Every briefing is written against it, and findings are ranked by how far they sit from what you are aiming at.
  • Overview opens with a verdict, one line on the period. Click Read why and the full briefing unfolds beneath it.
  • New navigation: Overview, Behavior, SEO and Observability. Performance sits with Errors under Observability, SEO has its own destination, and Export moved into Settings.
  • Ask Clerion lives in the command bar. Press ⌘K anywhere to ask a question in your own words or to filter the whole dashboard in one sentence. Your recent conversations stay in the sidebar.
  • Compare any period with the one before it: a dashed line on the chart and a delta on every row. User flow gained Top paths and Exits, so you can see the routes people take and the page they leave from.
  • Errors is now a log viewer with ERROR, WARN and INFO levels. An explanation is written for a single error only when you ask for one.
  • Briefings refresh when your numbers move rather than on a timer, and if a refresh fails you keep the last good one.
  • A 14-day trial with plan changes and cancellation handled inside the app, and yearly billing priced as whole dollars a month. A guided tour and a permanent demo site let you see a full dashboard before your own data arrives.
  • The whole app moved to one calm, monochrome design. Blue is used only when Clerion is speaking, warnings are warm ink tints, and there are no traffic-light colours.

See any slice of your traffic

  • Click any row - a page, country, source, device, browser, or campaign - to filter the whole dashboard to just those visitors. Every chart, number, and the user-flow view move together, and the funnel and events map follow along.
  • Active filters read back in plain English, so you always know the slice you are looking at. Lift any one of them with a click.
  • On the Pages tab, the filter bar tells you exactly what it affects: the page map stays complete, while the numbers count only the filtered visitors.
  • Pick any custom date range from a new calendar in the topbar. Your plan's history window is shown clearly, so you know how far back you can look.
  • Signing in is steadier, with a fix for a rare case that could lock you out during normal use.
  • Behind-the-scenes security and reliability improvements.

Your AI traffic, visible

  • Visitors arriving from ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude now appear as their own traffic channel, so you can see what the AI assistants send you.
  • Headline numbers step up to a larger display scale that is easier to read at a glance.

Nothing breaks quietly

  • The topbar and date-range picker stay with you as you scroll.

Faster, truer numbers

  • Every metric audited for accuracy, from visitor counts to session time.
  • 12-month views now load in about a second, even on busy sites.
  • Visitor locations are accurate again, with a fix for cases where a country could be mislabeled.
  • Switching date ranges feels instant. Numbers stay put and update in place, with a calm loading state instead of a frozen screen.
  • The Errors and Pages tabs are quick on long histories, and Pages traffic follows your date range correctly.
